On October 12, 2025, the first Bishkek Regional Youth Tourism Festival “Bishkek Travel Fest”, held in Yntymak-1 and Yntymak-2 parks in honor of World Tourism Day, brought together young people, tourism organizations, and creative communities of the capital.

The main goal of the festival was to promote domestic tourism and active recreation among youth, as well as to develop tourism culture.

The Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, took part in the event. In his address, he congratulated the participants and guests on World Tourism Day, highlighting the festival’s importance for the development of domestic tourism and an active lifestyle.

“This is not just a tourism celebration—it is a celebration of unity, talent, and opportunities. Our priority is to create comfortable and favorable conditions in Bishkek. Soon, we will complete the reconstruction of Ataturk Park. In the future, we plan to hold many events in parks without blocking the central streets,” the mayor added.

Mayor Junushaliev also called on festival participants and residents to maintain cleanliness during such events, setting a positive example for visitors to the capital.

The festival took place across two venues: the sports zone in Yntymak-1 Park, and the main stage with themed zones, fairs, concerts, and master classes in Yntymak-2 Park.

The program included forums, ethnic shows, fitness and yoga sessions, culinary master classes, as well as a honey and tourism fair, where local producers and tour operators showcased their products and domestic travel routes.

Highlights of the festival included an ethnic clothing show, brass band performances, concerts by popular artists, and closing events featuring JAX 02.14 and an open-air screening of the Kyrgyz film “Champion”.

The festival served as a major platform uniting youth, tourism companies, sports schools, and creative groups in Bishkek.

The event was organized by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs of the Bishkek City Hall.
