In 2025, Frunze Street underwent heat network repairs for the first time in many years. The old 700 mm pipes were replaced with new 900 mm pipes.

Earthworks were carried out, and after the replacement of the heating networks, one layer of asphalt was laid on the roadway.

Since Frunze Street is included in the list of streets scheduled for expansion and full asphalt replacement in 2026, the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of Bishkek Mayor’s Office decided that the asphalt restored by MP “Bishkekteploset” after the heat network reconstruction will only cover the width of the trench opening with a thickness of 7 cm.
