The socialinstitutions of the Department of Social Development of Bishkek City Hall celebrated the State Language Daywith warmthand sincerity.Festive programs were held atUmut Uyu, the Aydanek Child Reintegration Center and theAkniet Center. Pupilsand recipients of social services delighted the guests by reading poetryand prosein Kyrgyz,singing songs, and happilyparticipating in quizzesand creativecontests. 

Staff and heads of institutionsnoted that the preservation of the Kyrgyz languageis notjust a tribute to traditions,but an important part of the national identity andspiritual unity of the people. Suchevents help to fosterlove andrespect for the nativelanguage, form a sense of pride and patriotism, and pass on the richness of culturalheritage to the younger generation.

The Department, with specialattention and support, will continue all initiativesaimed atstrengthening the Kyrgyz languageand preservingour uniqueculture.
