Bishkek City Mayor's Office reminds tenants of municipal property of the need to pay off debts and penalties immediately.

Otherwise, the Bishkek City Mayor's Office will be forced to apply to judicial and law enforcement agencies to collect debts, as well as take other necessary measures in accordance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic, including the cancellation of existing lease agreements and the dismantling of facilities.  

For non-residential premises. Based on the Regulation "On the Procedure for Managing Movable and Immovable Property Owned by the Municipality of Bishkek and Granting Limited Property Rights to them," approved by Bishkek City Kenesh Resolution No. 60 dated December 16, 2022, the Mayor's Office will take measures to evict tenants who avoid paying for the use of municipal property.

We also remind you that according to clause 6 of the lease agreement for non-residential premises, if the tenant fails to pay for more than two months in a row, after the expiration of the rent payment period, the contract is subject to early termination unilaterally at the request of the landlord.

For land plots granted for 5 years or more. In the special terms of the lease agreement, it is noted that the tenant will be disconnected from electricity and water supply until the arrears are fully paid. In addition, in case of violation of obligations to pay rent payments, a penalty is charged in the amount of 0.1% of the outstanding amount for each day of delay, but not more than 25% of the principal amount.

For lightweight objects. Based on the Regulation "On the procedure for the provision of land plots for urgent (temporary) use for light-duty facilities on Lease terms in Bishkek", approved by Resolution No. 142 of the Bishkek City Kenesh dated January 14, 2020, the OOT is subject to dismantling.:

a) in case of functioning without proper registration of permits for placement;

b) in case of implementation of new construction;

c) by a court decision;

d) by decision of the authorized body in the case of:

- violations of the terms of the agreement;

- non-payment of rent payments for 3 months;

- inconsistencies with architectural and urban planning standards;

- adoption by local governments of decisions regulating the life and development of the city.

Dear tenants! Bishkek City Mayor's Office earnestly requests to pay off all existing debts in order to avoid the application of the above measures, as well as to pay rent for the fourth quarter. In case of ignoring and non-payment, lists indicating the data (full name) of the malicious defaulters will be published in the media.
