The monodrama explores the complexities of female emotionality and the strength of a woman’s character as revealed through a story of love and pain. It is a powerful reflection on the courage to be oneself — both on stage and in life — and on the importance of expressing one’s individuality through art.
In the final part of the festival, speeches were delivered by:
Apsamat Akunov, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office;
Beibit Baktygereev, Director of the Akmola Regional Russian Drama Theatre under the Department of Culture, Archives and Documentation of Akmola Region, Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the International Association of Russian Theatres Abroad, Director of the International Theatre Festival and Laboratory “TeART-Kokshe”, and Co-Chairman of the Council on Creative Economy and Media of the Assembly of the Peoples of Eurasia and Africa.
Earlier, the festival participants and leading theatre figures of Kyrgyzstan visited the country’s “pearl” — Lake Issyk-Kul, in the city of Cholpon-Ata, where a roundtable discussion was held to summarize the results of the festival.
