At the initiative of the Department of Social Development of the Bishkek City Hall, in cooperation with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, scheduled fire safety and civil protection drills were held at social institutions.

The drills took place at the “Ayar” Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities, the “Ardager” Gerontological Center, and the municipal institution “Kolomto.”

During the drills, Ministry of Emergency Situations representatives provided detailed instructions on the use of fire extinguishers, earthquake response procedures, and trained staff and residents in first aid and basic safety practices.

The main goal of the exercises was to increase the readiness of staff and residents to respond effectively in emergency situations and to ensure their personal safety.

The training covered all structural and subordinate institutions under the Department of Social Development.
