Ruslan Baisalov, a student of School No. 1 in Bishkek, won the figital chess tournament at the 5th International Olympiad on Financial Security, held in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, at the Siberian Federal University.

About 600 schoolchildren and students from 40 countries reached the final stage of the Olympiad. The program included more than 100 events, ranging from educational and professional to sports and cultural activities.

Ruslan performed successfully at all stages and became the best among participants from the CIS countries, as well as a prize-winner of the national stage of the Olympiad among Kyrgyz schoolchildren.

The victory of the young student from Bishkek became a source of pride for his school and the entire country, confirming the high level of preparation of Kyrgyz students.
