On October 12, 2025, Bishkek Mayor Aybek Junushaliev inspected M.K. Atatürk Park, where large-scale renovation works are actively underway.

The city mayor reviewed the construction of new pedestrian and jogging paths and instructed officials to consider expanding the running zone to make the park a comfortable venue for sports events and mass runs.

Mayor Junushaliev paid special attention to landscaping and greenery maintenance. The municipal enterprise “Bishkekzelenstroy” was tasked with intensifying care for plants and improving irrigation.

He also emphasized the importance of high-quality lighting, modern irrigation systems, and well-equipped recreational areas to ensure the park is convenient and safe for residents.

Relevant city services and the Oktyabr District administration have been instructed to keep the renovation process under strict supervision.
