As part of the first Bishkek Regional Youth Tourism Festival “Bishkek Travel Fest”, an Open-Air Tourism Forum was held in Yntymak Park, becoming one of the festival’s key platforms.
The main goal of the forum was to bring together tourism professionals, business representatives, educational institutions, and young enthusiasts to exchange experiences, discuss current trends, and present new ideas in domestic and youth tourism.
The forum was attended by Deputy Mayor Viktoria Mozgacheva, representatives of the Tourism Department of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Tourism Development Council, the Tourism Development Support Fund, tourism associations, and universities.
Deputy Mayor Viktoria Mozgacheva opened the forum, emphasizing that developing domestic tourism is a priority of the city’s policy and an important tool for promoting the cultural potential of the capital.
Special attention was given to youth initiatives and new tourism projects. Students, startups, and tourism companies presented ideas ranging from ethno- and eco-tours to digital services and interactive travel formats.
Notable presentations included the “iZDE” project, aimed at promoting domestic tourism through digital platforms, and the interactive audio-performance series “As a Nomad”, turning walks around Bishkek into theatrical journeys.
The forum’s overarching goal was to foster collaboration and exchange of ideas among tourism professionals, businesses, educational institutions, and young enthusiasts in the field of youth and domestic tourism.
