A working meeting between the Bishkek City Hall and a delegation from Osh City Hall recently took place at the Bishkek mayor’s office.
Participants included Ilyas Kolopov, Head of the Bishkek City Hall Administration, Masuda Aidarbekova, Head of the Osh City Hall Administration, and representatives of municipal services from both cities.
The visit was organized with the support of the “ARAKET – Improving Life in New Housing in Kyrgyzstan” project and aimed at a practical exchange of experience in urban development management.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas relevant to both cities:
Urban improvement and development of municipal services
Digitalization of city services
Efficient management of municipal property
Infrastructure modernization
Implementation of environmental solutions
Currently, the Osh delegation is studying the operations of leading organizations in Bishkek, including:
Bishkekteploenergo
Bishkekvodokanal
Tazalyk (City Sanitation)
Municipal Inspection
Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development
Center for Digital Technologies
Other city hall departments
Both sides confirmed their readiness to continue dialogue and deepen cooperation, noting that such initiatives not only enhance the professional development of specialists but also contribute to sustainable improvement of urban living conditions and overall quality of life for residents.
