A working meeting of the staff was held at the Municipal Inspection with the participation of Iliyas Kolopov, Head of the Mayor’s Office of Bishkek.
Key points discussed included:
Strict compliance by Municipal Inspection employees with anti-corruption legislation and municipal ethics;
Mandatory use of body cameras while on duty;
Strengthened efforts to prevent informal trade and ensure compliance with urban maintenance rules.
Iliyas Kolopov emphasized that violators will face measures in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
“Today, the Municipal Inspection is almost the face of the Bishkek City Hall. You wear the departmental uniform, and your work must comply with legal requirements,” he added.
He also stressed the importance of preventive work, including public awareness and outreach to business operators to ensure adherence to city maintenance rules.
“We adhere to the principles of transparency, legality, and responsibility. When performing official duties, always carry a body camera according to instructions. Employees who violate established requirements will be dismissed and held accountable,” concluded I. Kolopov.
