A scheduled meeting of the Bishkek City Hall was held under the chairmanship of Mayor Aibek Junushaliev to review the results of the municipal enterprise “Tazalyk” for the first nine months of 2025 and preparations for the 2025–2026 autumn-winter season.
The enterprise’s director, Zholdosh Chushtukov, presented a report stating that during the reporting period, 278,703 tons of waste were collected, which is 34,943 tons more than during the same period last year.
As part of the modernization of its material and technical base, 168 units of special equipment have been acquired in recent years, with another 20 units expected to arrive shortly. Warehouses have been stocked with more inert materials than usual, the supply of sand-salt mixture continues, special equipment is undergoing maintenance, and winter workwear has been provided for employees.
The mayor instructed municipal enterprises and utility services to strengthen preparations for snowfall and to organize local rapid response bases for both “Tazalyk” and “BishkekZelenstroy.”
“We need to establish bases on-site so that heavy equipment does not have to be moved across the city. This will allow faster response to requests and more efficient work during snowfall,” the mayor emphasized.
In addition, special attention was requested for salting the areas incorporated into the city through administrative-territorial redistribution (ATR) to ensure all districts are equally prepared for the winter season.
Utility services were also tasked with identifying high-risk zones in advance and preparing rapid response plans to prevent emergencies during the winter period.
