As part of the Civil Defense Training Plan of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republican command and staff exercises continue at the Bishkek CHP.

On the second day of the exercises, the scenario involved a 6-magnitude earthquake, which caused a fire at the CHP’s fuel oil facilities.

During the practical exercises, participants practiced actions for fire containment and extinguishing, personnel evacuation, and providing first aid to the injured.

The exercises involve CHP staff, forces and resources of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic, civil defense units, and city services.

Training for such situations helps improve personnel readiness for emergencies and ensures effective coordination among all involved services.
