On October 24, 2025, as part of career guidance activities, an “Open Day” event was held by the State Customs Service under the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic. The event was attended by 35 students from grades 10–11 of School No. 72 in Bishkek.

The main goal of the Open Day was to acquaint high school students with the work of customs authorities, broaden their understanding of professions related to economics, international trade, and public service, and assist them in making an informed choice about their future careers.

During the visit, students learned about the history and development of the Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan, its key responsibilities, and current areas of activity. Staff members shared insights into the specifics of their profession, the knowledge and skills required for customs work, and the opportunities available to those pursuing a career in this field.

Students were particularly interested in demonstrations of the work of service units and the modern equipment used at customs posts. They also received answers to questions regarding admission to specialized educational institutions and career growth within the public service system.

Such events help foster patriotism and legal awareness among youth, increase interest in public service, and support students in making informed decisions about their professional paths.
