The Bishkek City Hall reminds tenants of municipal property of the need to settle debts and pay rent for the fourth quarter of 2025.

According to the terms of the lease agreement, each tenant is obliged to make timely rental payments. Currently, the staff of the Municipal Property Department continue to contact tenants, including those with outstanding debts, to remind them of the need to settle arrears.

The City Hall strongly urges tenants to take this information into account, pay any outstanding debts, and make rental payments for the fourth quarter of the current year within the established deadlines.

Please note that if rent is not paid for more than two months, the lease agreement may be terminated unilaterally.

Outstanding debts will result in the following measures:

Legal collection and contract cancellation;

Referral to law enforcement agencies;

Disconnection of electricity and water supply (for land lease agreements of 5 years or more);

Penalty charges – 0.1% per day of delay, but not exceeding 25% of the debt;

Dismantling of lightweight structures in case of non-payment of rent for more than three months or violation of contract terms.

If requirements are ignored, lists of non-payers will be published on the City Hall website and sent to the media.
