A meeting of the city headquarters to assist precinct election commissions with organizational and technical matters in preparation for and conduct of the early elections of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, scheduled for November 30, 2025, was held at the Bishkek City Hall under the chairmanship of First Deputy Mayor Mirlanbek Baygonchokov.
District heads reported on work being carried out to provide precinct election commissions with material and technical resources, internet connectivity, and other organizational issues.
Representatives of law enforcement agencies reminded participants of the prohibition on using administrative resources and the strict observance of the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Following the meeting, M. Baygonchokov instructed:
City service heads — to inform staff that participation in election campaigning and use of administrative resources is prohibited. He also noted that “Likes” and sharing information about candidates on social media are considered use of administrative resources.
Responsible services — to provide organizational and technical support to precinct election commissions, ensure material and technical resources, and promptly address issues reported by district headquarters.
District heads — together with designated services, to ensure control over the availability and proper functioning of generators and heaters.
Bishkek Emergency Ministry — to inspect election commission premises for compliance with fire safety requirements.
Bishkek Main Department of Internal Affairs — to ensure legality, public order, and protection of citizens’ rights during the election campaign period.
