Today, the Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, personally visited the address where one of the apartments was flooded. He inspected the damaged property and spoke with the affected residents.

The mayor instructed city services to promptly eliminate the consequences and check the building’s engineering systems to prevent such situations from recurring.

He also directed his deputy to provide assistance to the family and temporarily arrange housing for them until the restoration work is completed.

“Residents should not face misfortune alone. It is important to act quickly and cohesively, especially when it concerns people’s safety,” the mayor emphasized.
