From November 11 to 15, 2025, the second city round of the festival for people with disabilities is being held in Bishkek.

The event is organized in accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic No. 237 dated April 10, 2012, “On the Annual Celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities”, as part of a month-long program running from November to December, according to the plan of the Department of Culture of Bishkek City Hall.

Applications for participation in the festival were received from 23 organizations, including 11 children’s groups and 12 adult and public associations, foundations, and rehabilitation centers that work with people with disabilities.

The jury, composed of national and honored artists, painters, and associate professors from higher educational institutions, as well as cultural excellence awardees of the Kyrgyz Republic, evaluates the participants.

For 25 years, the festival of amateur art has been held in seven categories:

  1. Vocal performance
  2. Choral music
  3. Artistic reading
  4. Performance on musical instruments
  5. Fashion show
  6. Pantomime
  7. Dance (individual or group)

In the applied arts competition, works in felt, wood, knitting, macramé, beadwork, metal, watercolor, and other materials will be presented.

Each year, the jury notes a significant growth in performance skills and the active participation of the collectives.
