At the Akniyet Center for Children in Difficult Life Situations, a preventive event aimed at reducing juvenile delinquency was conducted in cooperation with the Leninsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek.
During the meeting, law enforcement representatives informed the children about the importance of obeying the law, the responsibility for committing illegal acts, as well as the rights and duties of minors. Special attention was given to developing legal awareness, enhancing understanding of the law, and teaching skills for safe behavior in society.
Currently, 46 children aged 4 to 18 live at the Akniyet Center. The institution has a capacity of 70 places and provides comprehensive social, medical-psychological, and educational support for children in difficult life situations and those left without parental care.
Conducting such preventive events helps strengthen cooperation between law enforcement agencies and social institutions, and fosters in the younger generation a sense of responsibility and respect for the law.
