Reconstruction work on the bridge on Zhibek-Zholu Avenue is progressing actively.

As of today, the construction of the supports on the western side has been fully completed, while concrete pouring and assembly works continue on the eastern side.

During the first phase, six beam structures have been delivered for the bridge construction.

The new bridge will be significantly wider and more convenient for traffic, with the number of lanes increasing from two to six. The total length of the structure will be 25 meters, and the width will be 34.3 meters.

On both sides, 3-meter-wide sidewalks are planned, ensuring safe pedestrian movement.

The bridge reconstruction is an important part of the program to modernize Bishkek’s street and road network and to enhance traffic safety.
