The capital has implemented a QR code payment system at municipal parking lots
To create convenient conditions for residents, the Bishkek City Hall, through the municipal enterprise “City Road and Transport Infrastructure” (GDTI), is introducing a modern payment method at municipal parking lots. Now, parking fees can be paid via QR code.
This will eliminate the need to pay cash to parking attendants. Payments will go directly to the local budget, helping to prevent corruption.
How to pay using a QR code:
After parking your car, point your phone camera at the QR code displayed in front of you.
Follow the link to the website GDTI.KG.
Enter your vehicle’s license plate number in the designated field on the website.
Select one of the available bank cards, pay 25 soms, and complete the transaction.
Payment can be made immediately after parking or before leaving. If the driver fails to pay, fines are applied: 1,000 soms for individuals and 5,000 soms for legal entities. Parking is free on Sundays and public holidays.
Currently, QR codes are installed on:
Orozbekova Street, from Toktogul Street to Kievskaya Street;
Turusbekova Street, from Moskovskaya Street to Zhibek-Zholu Avenue;
Bezymyannaya Street, Togolok Moldo Street, and Ibraimova Street from Moskovskaya Street to Toktogul Street.
In the near future, cashless payment will be fully launched and gradually expanded to other streets in the city.
