From November 7 to 9, 2025, the World Sambo Championship was held in Bishkek, bringing together 659 athletes from 73 countries.

Daniel Asekov, a student of the SDYUSHOR Martial Arts School, secured a confident victory in the Combat Sambo 58 kg weight category, winning the gold medal and becoming the World Champion.

This brilliant achievement confirms the high level of training of our athletes and highlights the importance of the SDYUSHOR Martial Arts School in the development of Sambo in Kyrgyzstan.
