The Mayor of Bishkek, Aibek Junushaliev, visited a residential building on Chyngyz Aitmatov Avenue, where a fire occurred the previous day. He met with the residents, listened to their concerns, and informed them that the city administration had already begun providing immediate assistance to the affected families.

The inspection revealed that the building was severely damaged and is no longer suitable for habitation. The mayor’s office has considered several options to resolve the housing issue for the affected families. One of the proposed solutions is to submit a request to the Head of State for the possibility of providing housing through the State Mortgage Company.

After visiting the fire site, Aibek Junushaliev also visited the affected residents in the hospital, inquiring about their condition. He reported that the necessary documents for allocating funds from the city’s reserve fund are being prepared. These funds will be used to provide financial assistance to the families.

The residents of the burned building have been temporarily accommodated at Gymnasium-Boarding School No. 1 named after A. Kanimetov. Basic necessities have been arranged on-site, and city services are providing support and assisting with urgent needs.

The city administration continues to monitor the situation and is working to ensure that the affected families receive all the assistance provided by law.
