On November 21, at the “Gazprom – for Children” Sports and Fitness Complex, the Bishkek City Championship in Rhythmic Gymnastics was officially opened with the participation of the Deputy Mayor of the capital, Viktoria Mozgacheva.
The competition takes place from November 21 to 22 and features 126 young gymnasts born in 2014, 2015, and 2016, representing sports schools and gymnastics clubs across the city.
Deputy Mayor Viktoria Mozgacheva ceremoniously opened the event and emphasized in her welcoming speech that rhythmic gymnastics is one of the most beautiful and expressive sports. She wished the participants inspiration, confidence, and great success both at the city level and later on the international stage.
The event aims to support youth sports, identify talented gymnasts, and enhance the training level of young participants.
The championship program includes individual performances in various rhythmic gymnastics disciplines, with group routines scheduled for the second day.
