A meeting of the headquarters for preparing the extraordinary elections of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic was held in the conference hall of the Bishkek City Hall, chaired by Mayor Aybek Junushaliev.
        The heads of the four city districts reported on the work being carried out at the precinct election commissions and the measures taken to eliminate any violations.The mayor instructed special attention to be paid to monitoring internet connectivity and the functioning of all equipment.
He also emphasized the need to create comfortable conditions for voters while reminding that the use of administrative resources is strictly prohibited.

“Our main task is to ensure high-level conditions and organize thorough preparation for the elections,” he added. The Department of Control and Organizational Work has been tasked with visiting all precincts and preparing a report based on the inspections.

Additionally, to create convenient conditions for citizens and increase voter participation, the Central Election Commission is opening 11 precincts for remote voting in Bishkek at the following locations:

  • “Osh Bazaar” trade and market complex – 1 precinct
  • “Asia Mall” shopping center – 1 precinct
  • “Manas” International Airport – 2 precincts
  • “Dordoi” market – 2 precincts
  • “Alamedin” market – 1 precinct
  • “Dordoi Plaza” complex – 1 precinct
  • “Bishkek Park” shopping center – 1 precinct
  • National Hospital – 1 precinct
  • “Orto-Sai” market – 1 precinct
