On November 21, the “ART DIALOG” forum was held in Bishkek, focusing on the development of the education system in the field of culture and arts. The forum was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, during which a resolution aimed at advancing the sector was adopted.

The forum was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic E. Zh. Baisalov, Minister of Culture M. K. Mambetaliev, Minister of Education D. Sh. Kendirbaeva, Deputy Mayor of Bishkek V. A. Mozgacheva, as well as heads of educational institutions and experts in culture and the arts.

Participants discussed the current state of the education system in culture and arts, existing challenges, and promising directions for development.

During the session, decisions were made on updating regulatory acts, revising educational standards, strengthening the material and technical base, improving teacher qualifications, implementing digital systems, and enhancing security in cultural institutions.

Measures were also defined for creating new music and art schools, opening methodological centers, introducing modern curricula, and supporting students’ participation in competitions and festivals. The resolution was adopted unanimously.

The forum served as a key platform for exchanging experiences and developing solutions that will contribute to the advancement of cultural policy and the education system in the field of culture and arts in Kyrgyzstan.

The forum is planned to be held annually, with a report on the implementation of the resolutions adopted at this year’s forum to be presented in 2026.
