Today, Bishkek Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev visited the Bishkekselmash boiler plant, where he familiarized himself with current production processes, new developments, and large-scale projects planned for implementation in the coming years.
During the visit, the mayor inspected new autonomous boilers of the modern generation produced at the enterprise and emphasized the importance of developing alternative heat sources to ensure stable heating in the capital. The city leader proposed several measures to increase production efficiency and issued corresponding instructions aimed at accelerating the implementation of new technologies.
The enterprise continues the production of autonomous gas boilers, designed to provide heating to several districts and apartment buildings in the city, independent of the Bishkek CHP. The project aims to reduce heat loss and decrease the city’s reliance on a single heat source.
According to the mayor, the modern gas boilers, each with a capacity of 10 MW (a total of 70 MW), produced in the capital, have successfully passed testing and are ready for commissioning after gas supply. He also noted that the cost of domestic equipment is 3–4 times lower than foreign equivalents, while its quality and technical characteristics are not inferior.
The creation of autonomous boiler units will increase the reliability of heating, improve the system’s economic efficiency, and enhance the resilience of urban infrastructure to external factors.
