Today, Bishkek Mayor Aibek Dzhunushaliev conducted an on-site inspection of several social and infrastructure facilities, including under-construction kindergartens, roadworks, and coal storage bases.
The first facility visited was a kindergarten in the Ak-Orgo residential area. On a 0.39-hectare plot, a two-story building of 877 m² is being constructed, designed according to a new methodology to accommodate 280 children. The kindergarten will include playrooms and sleeping areas, buffet and food blocks, a medical office, laundry, educational rooms, a music and sports hall, a speech therapist’s office, and all necessary technical facilities. The grounds feature playgrounds and a separate fuel room, and landscaping has been completed. Construction is 90% complete, and the facility is being prepared for opening.
The next facility inspected was a kindergarten in the Archa-Beshik residential area. Here, on a 0.27-hectare plot, a two-story T-shaped building of 570 m² is being constructed, designed for 180 children. Inside, there are play and sleeping rooms, buffet and food blocks, a medical office, isolation room, laundry, offices for the head and methodologist, a music hall, and utility rooms. The mayor instructed the contractor to speed up construction and ensure high quality.
Next, the mayor reviewed the progress of road construction on Cholpon Street, from Dolon Biy Street to Tagai Biy Street. The new road section is 670 meters long with a 7-meter-wide carriageway and 2-meter sidewalks on both sides. Curbs and drainage channels have been installed, and the base for the asphalt surface is being prepared. The mayor instructed to accelerate completion and strictly control quality.
Concluding the inspection tour, the mayor visited the city’s coal storage bases. He instructed the municipal inspection to conduct raids and check sanitary conditions, install high-pressure washers to clean truck wheels before entering the city, and, in coordination with the antimonopoly service, strengthen price control on solid fuel.
