On November 25, 2025, at Kindergarten No. 14 “Balastan” in the Sverdlov District, educational sessions for parents were organized on the topic “The Importance of Play in Child Development.” The event brought together 35 active and engaged parents, who participated in discussions on key issues related to preschool development.

The goal of the session was to emphasize that play is the primary and most important way for a child to interact with the world, a means of learning, acquiring new skills, and developing creative thinking. Through play, a child explores, experiments, compares, learns to interact, and expresses emotions.

During the session, kindergarten staff presented modern didactic materials and teaching aids designed for child development and demonstrated to parents how to use them in play activities. Participants were able to see how these games help reveal a child’s abilities, develop attention, thinking, and fine motor skills.

Additionally, parents took part in interactive exercises, practical mini-games, and a question-and-answer format, where specialists provided recommendations on effective play-based methods for home education.

The event was held in a warm and trusting atmosphere, highlighting the importance of collaboration between educators and parents in ensuring the harmonious development of preschool children.
