The Mayor of Bishkek, Aybek Junushaliev, instructed the Department for Land Use Control of the city hall to withdraw 29 lawsuits related to land plots along Ch. Aitmatov Avenue.

This decision aims to resolve issues out of court and establish effective cooperation with landowners.

The Akim of the Leninsky District has been tasked with initially providing alternative equivalent land plots to citizens, and in cases of refusal, to consider compensation payments based on cadastral value in accordance with the current legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The city hall will continue to ensure that all land use issues are handled in compliance with Kyrgyz law.
