On November 28, 2025, the official opening of the international ITF Taekwondo tournament “RAMIS CUP IV,” dedicated to the memory of Kyrgyz Republic sports master Ramis Chyngyshpaev, took place at the “Gazprom – detyam” Sports and Fitness Center.
The ceremony was attended by Bishkek Deputy Mayor Viktoria Mozgacheva.
In her speech, the deputy mayor noted that the “RAMIS CUP” tournament has become a positive sporting tradition, bringing together young athletes from different countries. She emphasized that the Bishkek city administration consistently supports the development of sports, creating opportunities for training and participation in international competitions.
During the ceremony, the 2025 ITF Taekwondo champions who had competed in international competitions in Italy were awarded.
A special highlight of the opening was a demonstration by special forces fighters, which created a memorable and impressive moment of the ceremony.
The “RAMIS CUP IV” international tournament takes place on November 28–29, 2025. Participants include athletes from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan, as well as young taekwondo practitioners from the capital and other regions of Kyrgyzstan. Competitors range in age from 6–7 years and older.
The tournament includes the following disciplines:
- Individual programs: individual sparring, individual tul;
- Team programs: team sparring, team tul.
A distinctive feature of the 2025 tournament was professional matches between athletes from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan in three weight and age categories.
