On November 28, 2025, a meeting of the Coordinating Commission for Health System Management was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Mayor Viktoria Mozgacheva, with the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic and authorized agencies.
The meeting reviewed the current epidemiological situation regarding acute respiratory viral infections and influenza in the capital.
Following the discussion, it was decided to maintain sanitary and epidemiological measures, strengthen health screening in educational institutions, continue monitoring children’s attendance in kindergartens and schools, and conduct informational and awareness-raising activities among the population.
To prevent the spread of seasonal illnesses, the Bishkek City Hall recommends that residents:
- avoid crowded places;
- refrain from self-medicating and consult a family doctor promptly if symptoms of ARVI appear;
- use medical masks when leaving home;
- regularly ventilate rooms and, if possible, use air purifiers;
- follow personal hygiene rules and use antiseptics.
It is also reminded that strengthening immunity is an important preventive measure. Adequate sleep, balanced nutrition, and physical activity help reduce the risk of illness.
The Bishkek City Hall, together with the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, closely monitors the epidemiological situation and urges residents to exercise caution and take care of their own health and the health of their loved ones.
