In the capital, a wreath-laying ceremony was held at the Victory Memorial as part of the visit of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly international observer mission, which arrived in Kyrgyzstan to monitor the early elections of deputies to the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The event was attended by Bishkek’s First Deputy Mayor, Mirlanbek Baygonchokov, who, on behalf of the municipality, welcomed the members of the CIS IPA delegation and emphasized the importance of international cooperation in developing democratic institutions, parliamentarism, and ensuring citizens’ electoral rights.

The ceremony took place at the Victory Memorial, where the mission members, deputies, and senators from CIS member states honored the memory of the heroes who fell during the Great Patriotic War.

The Bishkek City Hall expresses gratitude to the organizers for contributing to the strengthening of international cooperation and for maintaining the tradition of respect for historical memory.
