Planned inspection raids are ongoing in the city of Bishkek to check car wash facilities that violate regulations regarding technical documentation and the use of the city’s water supply and sewer networks.
During the inspections, unauthorized connections to water and sewer networks were detected, as well as violations of the established procedures for water intake and wastewater disposal.
Results of the raids:
Leninsky District:
- 4 car washes disconnected by pipe cutting;
- Sewer networks blocked at 2 car washes.
Pervomaisky District:
- 2 disconnections from the water supply network;
- 2 disconnections from the sewer network.
Owners of the facilities received official notices requiring them to correct the violations and bring their water supply and wastewater systems into compliance with current regulations within the established timeframe.
Bishkekvodokanal reminds that all commercial facilities connected to the city’s water and sewer networks must install water meters to account for actual water consumption.
Inspection raids will continue.
