The World Shooting Championship was held in Cairo, Egypt, with athletes from 71 countries participating. In the “10m Air Rifle” event, 120 female shooters competed, including three students from the S. Djumanazarov Youth Sports School (shooting division) from Bishkek.
The championship provided an important platform for improving sports skills, enhancing personal results, and developing resilience under high competition conditions. Participation also allowed the athletes to work on technical consistency throughout the course and strengthen their psychological preparation.
The event was organized by the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF).
Results of the S. Djumanazarov Youth Sports School athletes:
- Aruuke Talantbekova — 15th place (631.9 points)
- Aizhan Yergeshova — 89th place (623.2 points)
- Kanykey Kubanychbekova — 94th place (622.6 points)
