In the city of Bishkek, raid operations to protect air quality are ongoing.
Deputy Mayor Azamat Kadyrov, together with the Municipal Inspection, conducted an inspection of bathhouses and saunas to check for the burning of unauthorized materials.
During the raid, environmental violations were found in two private bathhouses.
At 402 Zavodskoy settlement, remnants of household waste and clothing were discovered in the furnace. The owner of this private bathhouse had been repeatedly warned about the responsibility for burning prohibited items, but the violation was confirmed again during the latest inspection.
A repeat protocol was drawn up against citizen O.A.A. under Article 115, Part 3 of the Kyrgyz Republic Code on Offenses. Deputy Mayor Azamat Kadyrov once again warned the owner about the need to strictly follow environmental regulations. In case of another violation, the private bathhouse’s activities may be suspended.
In another bathhouse at 450 Zhibek-Zholu Street, the burning of a plastic bottle was detected, which is also a violation of environmental requirements.
The owner of this facility, A.R.T., was fined 7,500 soms under Part 3, Article 115 of the Kyrgyz Republic Code on Offenses.
According to the rules of city maintenance in Bishkek, burning of textile products, automotive oils, paints and varnishes, plastic items, rubber, plexiglass (bottles, jars, etc.), and tires is prohibited within city limits.
