Since the beginning of 2025, the Municipal Inspection of the Bishkek City Hall has conducted 204 raid operations among businesses and private sector residents to monitor compliance with environmental regulations.

Over 11 months, more than 650 sites were inspected, including industrial enterprises, baths, saunas, and private homes.

As a result of burning dry grass, household, construction, and textile waste, 290 protocols were drawn up in accordance with Part 3, Article 115 of the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on Offenses. The total amount of fines imposed reached 2,903,500 soms.

Breakdown by districts:

  • Leninsky District — 74 protocols totaling 772,000 soms;
  • Oktyabrsky District — 36 protocols totaling 456,000 soms;
  • Sverdlovsky District — 95 protocols totaling 852,000 soms;
  • Pervomaisky District — 85 protocols totaling 823,500 soms.

The Municipal Inspection reminds residents and organizations that burning solid household waste, dry grass, and other types of garbage is prohibited.

Penalties for burning such waste are 7,500 soms for individuals and 23,000 soms for legal entities.
