At Secondary School No. 95 in the Lenin District, an informational session was held for social educators, psychologists, and deputy principals for educational work as part of the “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence” campaign.

The event was organized by the Municipal Administration of the Bishkek City Hall with the support of UNFPA Kyrgyzstan. The main theme of the 2025 campaign is digital violence.

More than 80 teachers from schools in the Lenin District of Bishkek participated in the session. The session was moderated by the Deputy Head of the Lenin District, Baktygul Ismailova.

Speakers — UNFPA gender expert Nazira Zheenbekova and gender expert-trainer Gulbarchyn Zhumabaeva — discussed child safety in the digital environment, prevention of sexual violence, and ways to access support.

The session was conducted interactively. The most active participants in the quiz were awarded gifts, including t-shirts, thermoses, facial care products, and stationery.

The “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence” campaign continues to draw attention to the safety of women and children and strengthens cooperation between government, civil society, and international organizations.
