In the capital, as part of the Council on Disability Affairs under the Bishkek City Hall, a ceremony was held to award the winners of the 25th City Festival of Amateur Arts and Applied Arts Competition “The Sun Shines the Same for Everyone” and the inclusive Spartakiad for people with disabilities.

The festival and Spartakiad were held on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

Awards and medals were presented to the winners by representatives of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs of Bishkek City Hall and the Department of Culture.

The municipality will continue to move forward so that every person with a disability feels that the city is near, that the city listens, that the city cares, and that life in Bishkek can be full, active, and respected.
