In the districts of the city of Bishkek, the following contests will be held: “Exemplary Elder (Aksakal),” “Exemplary Elder Woman (Baibiche),” “Honored Daughter-in-Law,” “Best Father,” “Exemplary Family,” “Exemplary Street,” “Exemplary Neighborhood,” “Exemplary Enterprise,” and “Exemplary Community (Collective).”

Residents, collectives, enterprises, microdistricts, and residential areas of the city of Bishkek are eligible to participate in the contests. Participation is voluntary and free of charge.

Applications for participation are accepted by municipal administrations until December 15, 2025.

Each application must include the following information:

  • a brief profile of the participant(s);
  • information on achievements (with supporting documents such as diplomas, certificates, awards, etc., if available);
  • photo and video materials (presentation);
  • a recommendation from the MTU (territorial municipal administration).

The main goals and objectives of the project are to promote the strengthening of family, cultural, and community traditions; popularize best practices of civic engagement, family values, and social responsibility; and encourage residents’ involvement in city improvement, cultural development, and support for public initiatives.

Winners of the contests will be awarded letters of appreciation, certificates of honor from municipal administrations, and commemorative gifts.
