While inspecting the temporary Western Bus Terminal, the Mayor of Bishkek listened to drivers’ concerns and suggestions. He instructed the Traffic Safety and Public Transport Department under the city police to take action against taxi drivers conducting illegal passenger transport and to carry out the necessary enforcement raids.

The mayor emphasized that taxi drivers operating legally and providing intercity transport through the temporary Western Bus Terminal will be given priority in license issuance. At the same time, the municipality strongly advises against issuing licenses to drivers who continue engaging in illegal passenger transportation.
