As part of the 6th World Nomad Games, a unique cultural project called “Birimdik Karbeyi” is being launched in Bishkek, covering all regions of Kyrgyzstan. This project represents a symbolic journey of water, which has always been a source of life, purity, and continuity for the Kyrgyz people. The water traveling across the country carries not only ecological significance but also a deep symbolic meaning of unity and renewal, which is important for all the peoples participating in the Games.

The project involves selecting individuals who have made significant contributions to the development of national sports, culture, and society — called “Baatyrs” and “Elchilers”. Special attention is given to sacred water sources in each region — rivers, lakes, and springs — which will hold particular spiritual significance throughout the project.

One of the key moments of the project is the ceremony of filling the Kөökөr with water from sacred sources, symbolizing the strengthening of national unity and the spiritual connection between regions. Water brought from different parts of the country will be collected in a single vessel and delivered to Bishkek, where during the Games it will become a symbol of friendship and harmony. This is not just a cultural event, but a true unification of all peoples of Kyrgyzstan and the world, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and respect for traditions.

In addition, the project includes the creation of special water displays where residents and visitors can see this symbol of unity and take commemorative photos. The city of Bishkek is actively involved in preparing and organizing the events, supporting the national project, and ensuring the capital’s participation in the 6th World Nomad Games.

“Birimdik Karbeyi” is more than a project — it is a journey that shows the importance of each person’s contribution to a major national event, making them feel part of something great and meaningful for the country. The water passing through the hands of people from all regions will symbolize how, through joint effort, new heights can be achieved without forgetting our heritage and traditions.
