Today, December 25, 2025, public hearings on the General Plan of the city of Bishkek until 2050 are continuing at the “Alga” Stadium.
Participants include Deputy Mayor Azamat Kadyrov, Chief Architect Meder Kydyrmaev, Deputy Head of the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Advanced Urban Planning Irina Grishechkina, and representatives of city services.
During the public hearings, residents of the Sverdlovsk and Oktyabr districts were provided with information on the General Plan project and given the opportunity to submit suggestions and comments. Participation in the hearings is open to all citizens, regardless of registration or actual place of residence in Bishkek.
On October 25, 2025, the General Plan of Bishkek until 2050 was published on the official website of the mayor’s office for public discussion. To date, the municipality has received 370 proposals and comments from city residents. In addition, since October 27, 2025, citizens have been able to review the project in paper form—91 people have already received consultations.
