On December 25, 2025, as part of the IV People’s Kurultai, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic — Head of the Presidential Administration, Adylbek Kasymaliev, launched the online opening of 94 social and industrial facilities across the country.
In Bishkek, five social facilities and one industrial facility were put into operation. Among the new social facilities, a ceremonial opening of Kindergarten No. 62 “Balastan” took place in the Sverdlovsky district of the capital.
The event was attended by the Head of the Bishkek City Hall Office, Ilyas Kolopov; Deputy Akim of the Sverdlovsky District, Aynura Arstambekova; Director of the Department of Education, Rakhmat Musaev; and the kindergarten’s director, Aida Suranchieva.
The total land area of the facility is 2,794.6 square meters. The planned capacity of the institution is 360 children, but thanks to the implementation of modern educational organization methods, the kindergarten will be able to accommodate up to 560 children. There are 18 groups in total, and education and upbringing are conducted in the Kyrgyz language.
The modern two-story kindergarten building fully meets safety and comfort standards. It is equipped with playrooms and sleeping rooms, changing rooms, a dining area, a medical office, staff rooms, music and sports halls, as well as classrooms for music and creative activities.
The facility’s grounds are fully landscaped, featuring 14 playgrounds with artificial surfaces and modern play equipment.
It is noted that construction of the kindergarten began in June 2025. The project was implemented by the Capital Construction Department of the Bishkek City Hall, with the contracting organization being the company LLC “Lider Haus.”
