Today, December 25, 2025, public hearings on the Master Plan of Bishkek until 2050 have concluded.

On December 24–25, city officials and the project developers — representatives of the St. Petersburg Research Institute of Advanced Urban Planning — presented the approved part of the document and answered participants’ questions.

According to the Regulation “On Conducting Public Hearings of Urban Planning Documentation in the Kyrgyz Republic”:

  • No later than 5 working days after the public hearings, the protocol on the results of the hearings is published on the official website of the local self-government body — https://bishkek.gov.kg/ky;
  • The public who participated in the hearings has the right to submit their proposals and comments on the content of the protocol within 7 calendar days from the date of its publication, sending them to the local self-government body that organized the public hearings.

The Master Plan is the main legal urban planning document that defines the city’s priority and phased development strategy for the next 25 years, taking into account state objectives and the interests of the population.
