On September 01, 2025, at 6:00 a.m., an accident occurred on a 500 mm diameter water pipeline feeding the southern part of the capital. In this regard, the supply of drinking water to residential buildings, schools, preschool institutions, healthcare facilities and other facilities for social and industrial purposes has been stopped from 07:00 hours. 

The shutdown area is bounded by streets: Masalieva – Ch. Aitmatov Ave. – Y. Abdrakhmanov- Sadyrbaev; •Masalieva – Ch. Aitmatov Ave. – Toktonalieva – M. Gshliesser; •Jal -29 south side of No. 95 schools. The shutdown is related to repair work on the VDNKh water pipeline with a diameter of 500 mm. MP Bishkekvodokanal apologizes for the inconvenience and asks organizations and the public to stock up on drinking water in advance.
