In the field of social protection, in the first half of 2024, 29,450 citizens received targeted assistance in the amount of 81 million soms.


The Social Passport of a Low-income Family program has been launched, and 21,552 electronic passports have been issued.


As of July 1, 2025, 14,147 families (28,985 people) were registered with the social development authorities.


There are 244 organizations in the field of education, including 120 schools and 118 kindergartens. In the first half of 2025, 7 preschool educational institutions were transferred to municipal ownership, and major repairs have begun in some of them. Of these, 5 were transferred to the operational management of the district education departments.

According to the results of the 2024-2025 academic year, 236,947 students graduated from 120 general education institutions in Bishkek, including 25,128 first-graders.


According to the results of the republican universal testing, 54 graduates across the country received gold certificates, 38 of them were Bishkek students, including 29 graduates of municipal schools.


Out of 125 applications for the "Young Teacher Deposit Program", 100 teachers were selected, and 7.7 million soms were allocated from the local budget to support them.


Alarm buttons have been installed in all schools, and 15 million soms have been allocated for their maintenance in 2025. 24.6 million soms were allocated and a tender was announced for the installation of video surveillance systems in schools and kindergartens that do not have video surveillance cameras.


In the field of culture, 3332 cultural events were held, in which more than 505 thousand citizens took part. Among them are major urban and international projects such as the Young Talents Competition, the Nariste Festival, the Bishkek Delphic Games and others.


In the field of physical culture and sports, 354 sporting events were held in the first half of 2025, which is 319 more than in the same period last year. Of these, 38 events are city championships, championships and international tournaments in various sports.
