First Deputy Mayor Mirlanbek Baigonchokov spoke about the work in the field of housing and communal services.
In the field of housing and communal services, the subscriber base for the collection and removal of solid household waste amounted to 899,953 people (as of July 1, 2024 – 789,973, or an increase of 13.9%). The amount of funds received in this area amounted to 418.0 million soms, which is 6.9% more than planned. In the first half of 2025, more than 318 thousand cubic meters, or about 141.3 thousand tons of waste, were collected.
One of the important directions is the greening of the urban area. In the first half of 2025, 3,403 deciduous and 2,451 coniferous trees, 1,761 shrubs and more than 1.4 million annual flowers were planted. In addition, more than 37 thousand square meters of lawns were organized. Work has been carried out to clean up the Ala-Archa (11.9 km2) and Alamudun (11.1 km2) rivers.
In the field of outdoor lighting, 548 lamps were replaced in the first half of 2025, 149.8 km of SIP were laid, 10,343 LED lamps were installed and replaced, of which 3,422 lighting points and 587 supports were installed as part of the capital construction.
In order to improve the speed and quality of service at MP Bishkekgorlift, optimization work was carried out in March 2025 to introduce electromechanics instead of lifters. Of the 124 elevators scheduled for modernization in 2025, tender procedures have been conducted and contracts have been concluded for 62 elevators.
In the first half of 2025, 10 ramps were installed in cultural, health and social institutions – philharmonic halls, opera and ballet theaters, museums, libraries and children's institutions.
To ensure water supply by 2025, 114.2 million soms worth of works have been completed. Electrical and pumping equipment was repaired at wells and pumping stations, as well as other preventive maintenance.
294 meters of main sewer and 7.6 km of irrigation pipelines were reconstructed, including main pipes along Kuyruchuk, Akhunbaev, Kok-Zhangak, Serafimovich streets, Novosibirsk Lane and Orenburgskaya.
The republican budget allocated 148.3 million soms for the expansion of the Bashkara-Suu water intake, and 4.6 million soms from the saved funds for the installation of video surveillance systems.
In order to provide the southern district of Bishkek with clean water and ensure the distribution of the Orto-Alysh water intake, work is underway to organize local water intake within the framework of the project "Organization of local water intake in the zone of zonal reservoirs".
The construction of one well (260 m) has been completed to modernize the KHBO water intake, and preparations are underway for the second one. A second pumping station for lifting water and a protective structure have been built, and installation work has begun. Out of 113.1 million soms, 28.21 million soms have been disbursed.
As part of the administrative-territorial reform, 60 aiyl aimags were inspected, 373 km of water pipes and 101 km of sewer pipes were identified, 65 water intakes, 76 wells and 4 sewage pumping stations were identified. In order to relieve tension in society, MP Bishkekvodokanal assumed responsibility for the maintenance of water and sewer networks in Aiyl okmotu Orok, Lebedinovka, Novopavlovka and Kok-Zhar.
