A meeting between Deputy Mayor of Bishkek Viktoria Mozgacheva and a delegation of Japanese educational institutions, headed by Mr. Ken Fujioka, Secretary-General of the “Industry-Government-Academia Collaboration Platform of Kobe University City,” was held in the capital.

The Deputy Mayor welcomed the guests, expressing her gratitude for the visit and for Japan’s interest in establishing partnership relations with the Bishkek City Hall and educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for professional development of social sector employees, cooperation in education through student exchange programs, and familiarization of Kyrgyz graduates with opportunities for free study in Japan.

In turn, Mr. Ken Fujioka thanked the hosts for their warm welcome and noted the high potential for cooperation between Bishkek and Kobe.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed confidence in the further strengthening of partnership ties and the development of practical cooperation between educational institutions of Bishkek and Kobe.
