This past weekend, the Bishkek Championship and Open Tournament in Orienteering took place in Karagacheva Grove, attracting 40 participants aged 12 and older.
The competitions aimed to promote orienteering and encourage youth engagement in active and healthy lifestyles.
The race was conducted in a mass-start format, where participants simultaneously set out on individual courses, each with its own set of control points.

2nd place — Daniil Ananyev

1st place — Alisher Belekbaev
2nd place — Timur Chokaev
3rd place — Umar Rustamov
Category W16A (girls under 16):
1st place — Begimai Rysbekova
2nd place — Akilay Kazieva
3rd place — Adelina Sansyzbayeva
Category W16 (girls under 16, advanced group):
1st place — Anna Ananyeva
2nd place — Irina Razvodovskaya
3rd place — Elena Bugaeva
Category WE (women, elite):
1st place — Ruslana Nasyrkova
2nd place — Anastasia Vdovina
3rd place — Ekaterina Shcherbakova
Category ME (men, elite):
1st place — Sergey Turdaliev
Category M Open (open men’s group):
1st place — Igor Moskin
All winners and prizewinners were awarded medals. The event was organized by the Department of Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs of Bishkek City Hall, in cooperation with the Orienteering Federation of Kyrgyzstan.
